Michel Comte

Michel Comte began his career as an art restorer, specializing in contemporary works such as those by Andy Warhol and Yves Klein. In 1979, he was discovered by Karl Lagerfeld, who commissioned his first international assignment for Chloé and subsequently for Chanel. He became known for his work with Vogue Italia, L’Uomo Vogue, Vanity Fair, and Interview over the years, and has collaborated with brands such as Dolce & Gabbana, Gianfranco Ferre, BMW, and Ferrari, among others. He directed and produced his first 3D feature film, The Girl from Nagasaki, an adaptation of the classic opera Madama Butterfly, which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in 2014.
