Bigas Luna "Iberian Portraits" Exhibition

In 2019, The Collector presented the exhibition "Iberian Portraits" by Bigas Luna, an unprecedented photographic exhibition created during the filming of his famous Iberian trilogy: Jamón Jamón, Huevos de Oro, and La Teta y la Luna.

Through a small Olympus camera, Bigas Luna captured spontaneous scenes and fragments of reality that, juxtaposed, composed a deeply personal vision of the peninsula.

His gaze, charged with eroticism, humor, and melancholy, revealed the most genuine soul of the Iberian imaginary: the land, the flesh, the light, and passion.

An intimate and vibrant exhibition, a tribute to a creator who understood like few others the relationship between art, life, and desire.
